Our dedicated wedding team are highly skilled bridal alteration seamstresses and specialise in the area of bridal & formal wear.

- Dry Cleaning – Discounts available on Dry Cleaning after the wedding for all garments altered by us.
- Special Items - Personalized items like ring cushions, bows, pocket squares, bridal scrunchies, and memory cushions, using leftover fabric.

Nerves are normal!
The first fitting is always a nerve-wrecking time for every Bride to be. Very often you may not have seen your dress since you ordered it and if your dress needs a lot of alterations, you may feel a bit like a pin cushion, making it hard for you to visualize your Bridal vision! All our Bridal Seamstresses are Experts in their field, each with over 25 years’ experience so rest assured you are in good hands and we will have you looking and feeling your best for your special day!
We always advise every Bride to bring their wedding shoes and underwear. The underwear makes a massive impact to the fit of the dress and having them with you for your first fitting allows us to hit the ground running and pin you accurately from day one. Also, we require all Brides to have their shoes by their second fitting at the latest in order to accurately measure the length of the dress if shortening is required. If you have any additional parts to your dress it is advised to bring these also- eg. Belt, overskirt etc.
Of course, we have done amazing work to dresses to help fit a Brides vison. A lot of the time we can add or remove sleeves, change a neckline, change the back etc. During your first fitting discuss with our Seamstress what you would like for your dress and we would always do our best to make it happen for you.
Yes of course! Our Large spacious dressing rooms allow space for a few members of the Bride Tribe! We offer group bookings for Bridal parties. Some Brides prefer to bring just one member (eg. Maid of Honour or their Mother) to the first few appointments so as not to feel overwhelmed and then bring the group for the final reveal on the last fitting! Other Brides prefer to do it alone. We can cater to whichever you would prefer.
Yes! We love to see the whole family coming and regularly cater for not only the Happy couple, but also the Mother of the Bride/Groom, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen etc. Please advise us in advance if you will be booking in any other members so that we can reserve a space for them in our busy Bridal Calendar and make sure your whole group is catered for!
Don`t stress – we have had Bridesmaids and indeed Brides with growing bumps before. We advise to book your alteration as normal and we will work with your bump up until the final few days where we can tweak your dress to fit your bump perfectly.
With a lot of families and friends abroad it is quite common for a member of the wedding party to arrive a few days before the wedding. We would advise you to drop off the dress so it is booked into our wedding calendar and when flight times are booked to contact us for an appointment time. We will have the dress on your radar, don`t worry !
Yes, absolutely, our dedicated Seamstresses are also proficient in tailoring. We advise the Groom and Groomsmen to also bring their shoes and shirts with them for their fittings.
Yes we offer both services, please advise us at fittings if you would like your garments steamed.
Yes we can make special order items, please check our wedding shop page to see products available to order. If you have an idea of an item you would like that is not on our shop please ask us directly.
Yes we can offer a discount if both the Bride and Groom and their wedding party have their alterations done with us, please ensure everyone is booked under the same wedding name to ensure discount.
We offer Brides 10% off their Honeymoon/Hen-party alterations if your dress is booked in for Bridal alterations.
Its easy to hang your dress and suits back in the bag and just as easy to forget about them especially with all the excitement of married life and honeymoon. Fabrics hold stains and the longer the stain is in a fabric the harder it is to remove. It is important to have a wedding, bridesmaid gown dry cleaned as soon as possible after wear, especially if it has marks on it.
We offer a 10% discount on dry cleaning of dresses and suits that have been altered with us.
We often hear of dresses bought for an occasion never to be worn again. We have upstyled Mother of the Bride dresses into something new, Debs dresses into shorter party dresses and Bridal dresses into Christening and Communion Gowns, there is lots that can be done so your dress gets another outing. Call to us, you would be amazed at what can be done !!
